The Little Things in Life

Today was a good day. After putting in a long day at work, I came home to find a package waiting for me. I had been anxiously awaiting this particular package for quite some time. You see, for the majority of my Appalachian Trail Thru-hike, I donned a pair of exuberantly short shorts whose color and pattern are aptly named, "Jubilee." The shorts were so unique and bright that they became a part of my trail identity and upon deciding to hike the PCT this summer, I surmised that a new pair of shorts would be necessary. I worked with Soark the manufacturer of the Jubilees, and they put together a custom pair of shorts for my trek from Mexico to Canada.

Front: Mexican flag to remind me where I came from.
Back: Canadian flag to remind me where I'm going
